Cookie policy
What cookies are. Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember choices and settings. Similar information can also be kept in the browser's local storage (localStorage).
What MonopolNews uses today. The site does not use advertising cookies and does not load tracking tools or external analytics (such as Google Analytics). The only cookie we set is the technical consent cookie described below.
Consent cookie (mn_consent). It remembers your banner choice — “Accept all” or “Necessary only” — so we do not show it on every visit. The same choice is also kept in the browser's localStorage under the same key. Retention: 12 months. It is a first-party cookie and is not shared with third parties.
Visit counter. The figures in the header and footer show aggregated, anonymous visit statistics computed on our server. This version of the site sets no cookie for the counter and does not register your visits from your browser.
External resources. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, and photos and news from the content platform that powers the site. During those loads your browser connects to external servers, which may process technical data (such as your IP address) under their own rules.
How to change your choice. At any time you can reopen the cookie banner — from “Cookie settings” in the site footer or from the button on this page — and choose again.
How to delete cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the consent cookie, the banner will appear again on your next visit. Reading the news does not depend on your choice.
